God has given us each different gifts, skills, personalities, resources, experiences and backgrounds, and He invites us to use them as an act of worship to Him. We do this by using our time and talents not to serve ourselves, but to serve others. At Citizens Church, we have several different ways you can volunteer and serve the church.
ABLE is our ministry to people with disabilities. The ABLE Ministry (Access, Belong, Learn, Equip) provides us with an opportunity to reach a population that is often left out and pushed to the side. Serving in the ABLE ministry includes activities such as being a one-to-one leader for a child with a disability, providing childcare for parent meetings, organizing and supervising activities at respite nights, and serving our adults with disabilities.
