Love People

April 8, 2021

Jesus said the second greatest commandment was to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” God made us in His image, as people who reflect His love and kindness to everyone around us. Though our sin causes us to look inward and live in a way that serves ourselves, the gospel frees us and compels us to look outward and live in a way that serves others. Because God is hospitable, we are hospitable. The mark of God’s people is love, using our gifts and resources not to make our lives better but to help our family, friends, neighbors and even enemies flourish.

At Citizens Church

Our lives should be marked by love, service, sacrifice and encouragement to those inside and outside the church. At Citizens Church, we love people through Sunday gatherings, volunteering, Home Groups, membership and giving of our time, talents and money.
